Space to Let

So I took time to adjust my lenses as i peeped through the multidimensional microscope of life and on this view I saw a filthy sewage tank infested with hearts that are clogged with the burden of unexpressed emotions. Much of the world population live only a quarter of their emotional lives expressed while the rest is stuffed up in our unconscious where it is left to accumulate and rot consequently adding to the filth. We have engulfed our hearts in a semi-permeable sieve which weighs and determines which emotions should flow out through it and which ones shouldn't. As well as determine the extent to which the expressed emotions are actually expressed. We allow only the tiny smooth crystals of socially accepted emotions to get through while the not so friendly rough particles that really define us are trapped inside and pushed back into the unconscious.

Pride and fear have taken a firm stand at the gates of our hearts blocking the free flow of emotions. Nothing beneath our pride must get through as it will injure our so called dignity if left untamed. So, it is hidden from the outside world and sometimes even from ourselves; our conscious awareness. We'd rather lose out on the things we need than degrade ourselves to get them. Our fears are masked by inappropriate defence mechanisms that shield us from the reality of who we really are; the little vulnerable boys and girls that live in the restricted depths of our hearts. Instead, we display ourselves as fearless giants that lack insecurities. Cowardice does not lie in having fears but rather in disguised bravery and the inability to confront one's own fears. True bravery is manifested in confronting and defeating one's fears and not in running away from them. Unfortunately, we stretch only as wide as it is safe. Displaying only the 'cool' emotions; the ones that don't get our faces all wrinkled up or rather nerve wrecked.

Mediocrity has become the norm accommodating the stench of rotten unexpressed emotions that have grown weary from the vain struggle for an outlet. The traditional patterns injected in our minds govern the ways of our hearts. Therefore, we have a generation that's too uptight for it's own good; too casual for God's liking. Nothing must be done to the extreme. It has been deemed not safe to love too hard. Men are not permitted to cry. An emotional man is perceived a weak man so he is forced to hold it in and harden up a little just so he can be respected. Our advice is filled with mediocre talk like 'don't get too zealous' 'oh you easily get excited' 'take it slow' 'don't easily trust' 'don't stretch too wide lest you break so easily' 'harden up a little' 'don't be so vulnerable'.... It is regarded as unsafe to lay one's eggs in one basket least tragedy hits and they all break so we lay them in various places hoping we might eventually stumble upon fertile ground and gain a fortune.

Risk is too deadly a word to mention. So we have leaned too hard on the notion that 'Life is not a game of chance' and have used it to keep ourselves from spending our emotions on lottery tickets. Whoever said that putting your all in something that doesn't work out is a waste. Total bull crap!!! The lot in life is saved for those that give their all to chance and do not regret a single loss but use it instead to build their journey to the top. Unfortunately, we are too reserved to ever give anything that much. Too scared of loss to invest. Too afraid of reaction to act. So we choose to miscarry our emotions instead of birthing them into action cause we fear the cost of the reaction. We'd rather the babies just die unborn; their carcasses all stuffed up in our little hearts.

Sad part is we have never stopped to ask how much of that junk are hearts can take. It's like we keep taking it all in without consideration for where it actually goes. Pardon me for the nasty in this but our hearts have become synonymous to public toilets that receive all sorts of waste from whoever cares to take a leak or dump but are never flashed. We are like the careless managers of these toilets who have simply not cared enough to get them cleaned so we go around carrying the decomposing wastes of so many users and it stinks! We stink!!! It's a polluted generation in need of space to let! All the space in the world is not enough to contain the heavy hearts of billions of people.

Just as toilets need to be flashed after use, our hearts were never meant to keep waste. They are meant to serve as a transitional point for the inlet and outlet of emotions. Your heart was not created to be a storage tank of pain, bitterness, anger, remorse, guilt, denial, the list goes on... These emotions are meant to come and go, not stay and make your heart stink. People will come in your heart and leave droppings of hurt. It's up to you to flash it out and save space for new comers or to harbor the waste and let it dent your heart. The wrong does not lie in you being hurt, it lies in you housing the pain. It's okay to feel pain. Accept it and allow the tears to flash it out. Stop trying to be super human. If crying was a sex role, God would have placed the gift of tears only in women. Yes, tears are a gift from God to be of help to both men and women, adults and children; otherwise they'd dry up as we grow older. Crying does not make you a child. Yes, children cry over the least of nitty-gritties and my call to cry is not one to do over hunger, a toy or mummies breastmilk. The things that provoke tears from our eyes grow more complex as we become more mature. We transition from crying over primary/basic physical needs to more complex/secondary emotional needs. The overall point is to save the world some space to let by letting it all out!

Our hearts were never meant to be denied the opportunity to receive emotions either. No one builds a toilet to be an idle decoration. Denying people an opportunity to be in your life is like denying a pressed passerby the opportunity to release because you are too lazy to flash your toilet. Stop playing safe! You do not master a game by holding back your cards. Nothing is better left undone. Take a chance on love and give it your all even if you don't get it in return. Find something to believe in and look foolish for it. Take risks and make sacrifices. Put your life on the line. Invest your time in something worthwhile. Stop walking on the side walks and get get driving in the main lanes. The way to self actualization is to stretch beyond your limits. Be ready to break and when you do, pick the pieces and try again.

What we don't understand is that decomposing emotions don't just vanish in thin air as though they never existed. Instead, just as solids decompose into gas, when emotions fail to make their way out through the sieves we have placed on our hearts, they decompose their natural solid form and compose themselves into an artificial gaseous form that can easily get through the sieves and manifest themselves in disguise. When anger is not released the right way, it regenerates itself into a fake smile just so it can make it's way through the sieve and manifest itself in deeds of vengeance. When love is not released the right way, it regenerates itself into denial so it gets through the sieve and manifests itself as hate. When pain is not released, it manifests itself as bitterness. When dreams are not pursued, ambition regenerates into self pity and manifests as low self esteem. Therefore, we have a world filled with artificial people; so fake they can't even recognize themselves anymore.

Stop the pollution and let the emotional cycle flow. It's the pattern of life. Nothing is perfect. Good emotions are just as vital as bad ones for the journey to perfection. People will release droplets of love, receive it and flash it in. Others will drop pain, receive it and flash it out. Some dreams and goals will require sacrifices, make them. There's no harm in pursuing your goals with emotion. Work is more effective that way. Emotions are the fuel required for motion to take it's course. Love what you do with all your heart. Chase it till you get it. Even if you don't, at least you gave it your all. Just don't refrain from the cycle or keep anything in. Offload it all and die an empty man. The grave only has room for your body. Heaven only has room for your spirit. Leave the rest down here. Unblock your heart and let it flow. For every emotion you hold in, you add to the world emotional blockage and pollution. The need for space to let is a call for everyone's participation.

D'sac101: Damn Declaration

Blessed be my going in
Blessed be my going out
A prayer and declaration made by many christians. I mean who wouldn't want a life filled with blessings? We all want to be blessed by God right? Yes, we are righteous but do we make an effort to live right? Its like wanting to get a drivers' license without learning how to drive. Not everyone wants to keep up with the commands and leading of God's word or Spirit but everyone wants to be part of the blessings galore. I've seen people that live off the hook of Christianity but want to be within the grid of God's blessings.

Blessings are sweet, blessings are awesome and blessings are great. Everyone ought to be blessed by God but do we provoke God's blessing or we just talk about them? Sometimes there are some steps you need to take to receive your blessing. Let's take Jacob for example, he wrestled with the Lord till morning just for a blessing. He held on till he was blessed and only let go when he was blessed.

So, well and good you've said you want to be blessed but what have you done about it? There is a route to that blessing you desire. Certain steps need to be taken for that blessing to be acquired. A certain level of growth in your spiritual life which will enable certain blessings to flow in your life is required. A certain level of maturity as a christian must be attained.

Yes, its very true, blessings are to be desired but blessings can also be attracted via confession. When you confess that you are blessed, you attract blessings to your life. Many people want blessings but don't want to be a blessing. You are blessed to be a blessing to someone out there; maybe a friend, relative or even a stranger. Even as you wait for your blessing today, take the first step and be a blessing to someone. Many are the ways of blessing others; bless someone with a poem, a hug, a smile, a simple present, a helping hand, a visit, a song, your presence, a word of appreciation.... Or whatever way you can. Just......
Be a blessing to someone.

We Can Be Beautiful

Please don't judge me and I wont judge you
Cause it could get ugly before it gets beautiful
I said please don't judge me and I wont judge you
Cause if you love me then let it be beautiful
Honestly
You don't have to be a fan to know who sang those words coz they have a single meaning
One shade of brown
Like if I say,
Dear Child of God
How beautiful would it be if you learnt to love me, got to know me
Before you describe me based on the visual information I openly display
Crocodile smiles hiding the scales of pain covering my heart thereby
Blocking out the salvivic medication you try to prescribe me with the
purest of intentions
I mean,
Did it not occur to you that maybe I stay away from God not because I'm
evil but because I believe there's no way in hell
The supreme leader of Heaven would chuck a wretch like me out of the flames of my sin
And please I apologise
It seems I didn't get the memo cause apparently being successful is a big no no in the new christian circle
But you see if you understood the scriptures you would know that when
Christ said it would be hard for a rich man to get into heaven, He did not restrict this to the abundance of money
I'm sure you've heard the saying "Too much of everything is bad.
Over praise me for my poetry then watch me closely and see if it won't be difficult for me to enter heaven
I rest my case
Nobody's perfect we fight the sentence that's why life in Christ is one of continuous repentance
Its no secret
There is evil among us but you can't kill the hen cause of one bad egg
Search for the truth in every stereotype and you'll most likely find that it was a bunch of lies that fed the hype
Work out your own salvation, focus on eternity and come to grips with the fact that you can not give people Jesus you can only show them
That you removed your plank and you got the splinters to prove it so that makes you qualified to help remove the speck in their eyes
I mean just think of how easy it would be for someone to accept your correction if you attempted to first create a connection bringing about a wonderful relationship
That will sail on the seas of time
There are so many duties and roles that belong to God and God alone
And incase its never occurred to you
The act of judging is of so little importance to God that He only set one day on which he would do it But yet here we are
Making a career out of it
Dear Child of God
My brother, my sister
Please don't judge me and I wont judge you
Cause it could get ugly before it gets beautiful
I said please don't judge me and I wont judge you
But if we shared some love
We could be beautiful
If we share love
We can be beautiful

SCIENTISTS’ MYTHICAL NOTION

Some scientists believe that neither GOD nor satan exists. Not only that but they also say that no form of spirit exists. If only satan can make you believe that there is no form of spirit, either good or bad spirit, then you definitely belong to him. Satan has corrupted the minds of some scientists by using science to mislead and confuse them. In this world, there are only two forces which are: good and evil. For someone to belong to the light, he/she has to completely surrender him/herself to the LORD. Brothers and sisters, if you have not surrendered completely to the LORD then you belong to darkness, whether you accept it or not. And if you want to completely surrender yourself, you have to deny yourself and allow JESUS CHRIST to reign in your life.
Some scientists think that everything can be explained and solved scientifically but the fact is that science is not a solution to everything and science can never deliver anyone from sin. Some of these scientists purport to have scientific explanations to everything but they find it utterly impossible to find answers to questions like: What happened before the big bang? Why is the universe governed by laws? For instance, the Law of relativity-which defines one of the fundamental forces of interaction & gravity, and the Law of standard model which describes the behavior of particles and forces according to mathematical symmetries; where did the air we breath come from? Who programmed the brain? Who or what makes the brain operate the way it does? What is hiding deep inside the earth? Scientists only think of what space has to offer but we do not know what is under our feet. In addition, the maximum depth they have managed to reach is 12km which is far from Earth’s mysterious place, at a depth of 6370km and that’s where the inner core is believed to be; which is an iron seed crossed by powerful waves and is still a mystery to scientists. And how can that thing produce and handle so much energy?
There are so many questions that scientists can never answer.Another question that science has failed to answer is that if anything can be solved scientifically, then why have they not found a solution that can eliminate death on earth?
Us, who are Christians and believe in the Almighty JEHOVAH have answers to questions that scientists can never answer. We, as followers of CHRIST, know that GOD is able and with Him everything is possible.

D'sac101 Segment: 99 Jobs

99 JOBS.....and you are still complaining. When Chef 187 (A Zambian Musician) released this track, I was bopping my head to it like everyone else. Then it suddenly struck my mind that a simple phrase like that carried something beyond the muscle scintillating sensations that reverberate into dance. The lyrical genius of this artist or be it his mental faculty is well carved in comparison to many of his peers. What am I driving at? Am addressing the many youth that spend their time complaining and whining about lack of employment or that always want to blurt out the infamous “Boma Iyanganepo” (Govt. or Guardian must provide) phrase.

Each one of us has 99 jobs in us. We are born that way. It is a great insult to God and a crime to mankind for you to leave this earth fully loaded with all your talents and gifts unexploited. Heaven or hell depending on where you end up,will have no use for your talents. Why should one spend an average of 17 years or for arguments sake, 12 years in school attaining knowledge and at the end of it, all that knowledge lies idle? We get educated not to get employed but to be the employer! There has to be a deliberate policy within oneself to change perspective and think big. Education should serve to help you manage your God given abilities better. Success lies in exploiting your talent. In your talent is where your passion lies. And what you are passionate about, you will by all means achieve! So what are those 99 jobs (talents and gifts) you are sitting on? The most successful people in life are they that dared to bring the 99 jobs out!! Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, Thomas Edison etc. all had a passion for their gift. The list is endless because your name is not yet added to it. I leave you with one question, are you a “solutionist” or a “confusionist”? You have 99 JOBS and complaining is not one of them!!!

Crucifixion Story

The nail is used for many things
You see, a harmer is taken by it and drives it, that's a rule
Its an important tool but here is the irony
It was also used 2000 years ago
To hang upon a cross the King
Who endured great agony.....JESUS CHRIST
A name familiar to every ear
Yet a character unknown to most dependants of oxygyn air
That's simply the familiar unfamiliarity
You see, Jesus took the pain and suffering for all mankind
He freely offered himself as the undeserving substitute
Tortured in our place,he bore our cross and wore our crown
He is one of a kind
Yet his royalty was never recognised
His life was never for one second correctly analyzed
Yet it was God's act of love for all mankind
Its the kind of grace beyond description
The type that moved me to recognition
Of the existence of God; the creator of all creation
A God that sent his "not one of many sons" but "only son" to trade life for death
And Grace pierced me in exchange
What a beautiful exchange; giving me a free gift called salvation
But you see this gift is often taken for granted by so many people...sad to say
Yet it came at a great cost that is explained through the cross and 3 nails
Elements of the crucifixion story
See, you cannot keep a good man down
Through the years many have said
He went down a man and rose a king to deliver the spiritually dead; Giving us salvation
So when you see a simple nail with a sharpened end
Remember the crucifixtion story
And give God due glory

Homeless

17yrs; a life of battle I lived, without hope or peace of mind
My struggles have been nothing but gushes of pain like a thorn in my eyes
Pain leaking within; I was bleeding from inside
Mum saw the last of me at birth
The man who fathered me like the wind he is; unseen
I've pestered earth; cried my eyes for food
Battle with the cold, sickness and my infirmity have glued to me
These streets that groom me have been a pattern of survival
Around the corner of Soweto; this place welcomed my arrival
I see rich people though throwing good food like dirt
Dustbins craw for my attention as I scamper daily their remains; I need their remains
To me it's a delight, there is no worth in feeling shame
I don't know the cavity of full chicken but I can prophesy to a chunk of meat
And you tell me; To whom do I complain? To whose command can I comply?
None! I don't know the day earth birthed me
Birthdays are feather less birds but still fly
I hold no knowledge of the day I was born; hold no record
I found me in this disarray, when I could reason with the sky ray
I..I realized the one woman who was my savior then; from birth had counted days
In her last day, she scooted closer to me and whispered
"Make today your 10th birthday and know not the life I've brought you up to experience"
With that, a Berger she died
Fellow beggars took her corpse; in a ditch she lay
A lifeless form that worshiped nothing but poverty.
Woman! You who presented yourself to me as mother, why desert me now?
Why empty my soul of every happiness I practiced to shine before your eyes?
Who now will comb my hair and tell me am beautiful?
Who will leave morning and come noon with little to chew?
Once more life chooses to avenge for the little joy I mastered
Am now 17yrs; perhaps death is friendlier
So sweet a scent; you're my escape to escalation
You exude a tentative approach that offers me a life of freedom
These pills that fill my hands so tender in my stomach
Yeah...so tender.. they'll find comfort
With this cup of water I ease them down...down....
A motion so simple, yes!
I feel my life leaving me at last; am growing cold
These pricks of pain; I deserve
My eyes closing slowly but surely; darkness mimics light
Heart beat racing; temperature skyrocketing
Yes...death is pulsating it's existence; am about to die..
If life has a word to say, Let it have its chance.. I said
If love has a word for me, Let it take this time
Let it speak to I
The Ground is cold; to breathe is curse
If there is a God, let him show my worth
Everybody is to themselves; building an empire or two
What's the purpose of living when to live is a selfish survive of the weak
My eyes close; my body nolonger with me
My spirit scores the little worth in it
Slowly I behold beauty within
Surely...Surely...even in the coldest day
God has always been with me..
Answered every adhered prayer; you protected and sustained me
In a soft still whisper; A breathe to me...I awake
I still love you my child

Introspective: Identity

"Mirror mirror on the wall...
Do you still see christ in me at all???
Does my life reflect the part???
That Jesus plays in my heart???
See, we say we are Christian
Yet we don't reflect the Son
We think we are christian because...
Dad is a church elder, mom is that cheerful ol' Sunday teacher
And because of the many bibles on the book shelf
Hence,we are christian
That's a fact
Well, what a cleaver act
Creative art of the heart
Yet a blinded conviction; inceptions with deceptions
This perspective skews your sense of identity
See, you put Gods word on your lips
Yet it's absent in your deeds
It takes a shortcut to many people's ears
But skips the path that leads to your heart
Well, here is the paradox: every shortcut you take will cut you short
Radically shifting your sense of identity
Because you're "Christian" but not CHRIST-LIKE
Here is a poets point of view....
"If zambians have roots in Zambia, so do Christians have roots in Christ"
See, you were made in God's image
To serve a purpose that expresses the vision of God; your artist
That's the core of your identity
See, you are the heartbeat of Ephesians 2:10
A great piece of art created in Christ for good works which God created ahead of time
So that we would walk in them
Dare to take a voyage of self-discovery, trekking across all the Bible pages
You'll realize you've been living in worldly prison cages
And in the vision of my imagination Alas!
Without the comfort of familiarity
Faking peace when your words and deeds are in disunity
You bound yourself in shackles of curiosity
Who are you???
Are you the person God created you to be???
Or just a person this earthly world is begging you to be???
This is an introspective....
The search for our true identity...

Sweet Pine Masquerade

Its the second glance that captivates the windows to your soul
As you gaze at its appetizing physique
Hooking you to its magnetic field
Like the persistant pocket-pull of an antique in a boutique
Like an acid, it gradually corrodes all your defenses
Leaving your mind in a hazy state
As you begin to meditate on its mouth-watering taste
Causing your buds to salivate
Eventually, it has your motor neurons transmitting greenlight impulses to your effector
And like a slave, you willingly follow as darkness pulls the chains to your slaughter
One bite entices you to the next in a surge of temporal plastic pleasure
Its measure lasting no longer than a minor epileptic seizure
Compromise then sneaks in on its tiptoes
Perforating your faith with windows of doubt
As it adopts an up and down motion like seesaws
It is then that sin unbalances the equation
Weighing you down to the point of addiction
As your roots run deeper in the soil of lust
Consequently depriving you of your redemption
Sweet pine masquerade
Beware of the second glance
For every fall lies in it...

Ancestral Serum

Black slaves; the story of my forefathers retold
Sounds boring these days because our heritage has been restored
But the difference between now and then is only a couple seconds
Seconds in billions of billions of clusters
When the white masters came ashore a wave of Caucasian men with a goal to capture the kings of the Sahara Serengeti
Not the lions but men and I hope that you get me
Ran down every son of Africa that reeked courage and hard work
The scars on the necks that were found to serve as a reminder of the iron chains that poisoned the blood streams of my ancestors with rust that captured the heart and ate away the element of freedom
They called us Niggers seemingly from the racial identity word
But this in ancient Egypt was a word used to refer to mummies that turned black due to the decay process
A name cast on us black children of the most high
The villages we lived in burned to the ground with foreign fire only familiar to the thought of destruction
Skin cut open as they poured their hearts out to the heavens when lashed in the mid of day
Lined up in chains to march for days without there lips ever recalling the taste of water
Water; the source of life and when they found, it was only to set there eyes on the multitudes of vessels that sat above the seas awaiting a long journey to the "land of the free...the new world"
So I pour this to you because my roots run deep and they are not tap rooting for the water bed
But for the mixture of BLOOD...SWEAT...TEARS of the grandfathers
And those three elements of struggle and hard work make a concoction I now call...
THE ANCESTRAL SERUM

My Guitar

Let's chorus our love before the stars
Cascade our tale before their eyes
And raise our voice to attentive ears
I caress your body with my hands
Feeling each part of you
Owning you and making you mine
I imprint my dedication
Carefully making you my obsession
To you my profession of love I confess
Your purity in brown
Your strands, like gold, emasculate and tender as snow
My guitar; my love; my all
God braced us this infinite grace
That as we solo as one, lets paint our tale white
 Illuminating sound and heart beats
My infinite companion; my circle of union
Your splendor sparks affection
You're the center and apex of my generation
This gift of mine I possess through you
I express how sound changes bitter to sweet; hot to cold
Nostalgic to joy; melancholy to smiles
Our lullaby is a legacy; it will amass attention
To who that sees, now I know
Love starts with G and ends with R
My guitar; my all, to you I write
Never ending quotes, phrases and notes
You're mine and am yours

Passions

Like anyone my age, I was fourteen once
Sitting in a cage as tele rocked my world like the flinstones
Peers viewed the world from all sorts of angles while mine was just a stationed glass box that I tightly held the remote to like criminals pistols
Like a prisoner, the scenes behind that screen had me cuffed
And the curses that flew out of that speaker were all I ever coughed
A fourteen year old boy who pushed his life down the drain
Insane, he ignored the calls of the God that would put him in the right lane
Or...was he too stupid to turn down the volume on those mind polluting speakers
Music videos about girls, cars, drugs and fancy sneakers
Were all he had a vision for
Not even the smallest room for God in his peripheral
So, with the remote in hand I lay in that couch all day
Authority trade; the reason that box on the unit equally chose when to pause or play
Stop; switch or even skip some scenes to my life
Probably why there isn't much to my social life
They told me there was 'so much more' than these cartoons
I guess that is why I went for adult section too
But it is for sins like these and all that Jesus lay in the tomb
Three days enough to wipe it all off the face of the globe
Look, he came to be our hope
Yet we put him on the bench
Like the red traffic light, to our suffering he put a stop
But that's a fire we don't want to quench
In all his creation he gave us first place, gold
While we without the slightest fear bold...ly
Gave him silver, bronze or just thought he didn't deserve a medal
And that in itself is the reason for our downfall.
Had me bungee jumping into a ditch full of guilt
Leaving me void of every option except to wallow in my filth
Never been to juvenile detention but I was surely locked away
And locked away in my brain was a little voice that said
'Focus not on the ditch and the darkness feeling it
But on the man that can pull you out; holds the cord so cling to it'

I Know How to Pray

So rather than ask God for a stronger back, Most of us choose to cry for a lighter load
And even when we know the only thing we can do is crawl, we stand on fences
Thinking we can fly like chickens trying to be eagles
Now please don't get me wrong, I believe for a fact that we are called for great things
But you see just as the sun will never interrupt the moon as she shines so bright at the dawn of the midnight,
You can not learn to fly before learning how to crawl
Take the disciples for example, they walked with the lamb
They even witnessed the resurrection of another man
Jesus made the blind see; by His blood he set us free
And it was only recently when it was made clear to me that the disciples were eagles disguised as chickens
They understood growth and the stages it involved
Rather than ask God to teach them how to fly, they knew all they could do was crawl
So next they had to walk and they said "Lord, teach us to pray"
Then he gave them their wings and over evil, they flew
The creation of a link stronger than any blood relation
A beautiful fellowship with a prayerful wingspan and that's amazing
I admire such behavior because it's the stuff of dreams
To be able to count my fingers before I count my blessings
And even in a bad season facing deluge after deluge
I can sit down with my savior and not just talk about the weather
It's this Joshua mentality to ask God to keep the sun in a single mentality till I win this war
That's the power of prayer and I put that in my tribe
To seek the white purity of Mark 11:24 and if I blue, I rise up in John, 316 reasons as to why I'm  valuable
More beautiful than the scene of the green olive leaves in Luke 22:39
Father may you please take this cup... No, wait
Thy will be done because I'm proud of my afflictions
Young, gifted and black, Matthew 7:7's probably why I never lack
To chase after His heart and not just His hand because I know three nails were more than enough
So that's it right there; the power of prayer
The one true thing that's got me feeling all good inside
And if anybody asks just stand gracefully and say don't mess with me
I know how to pray
Amen!
>>Malachi<<

Memory Lane

They say ignorance is bliss leaving my face with an ironic expression like Iscariot's kiss
Never been at peace since me and my mama were seperated at the naval
It's like they locked away my heart and gave the keys to the devil
Left my feet bleeding like I hit my knees on a pebble
So level after level, I have gone through the motions were my shoes hit the gravel
No regard of my spiritual deficiency, my heart rushed out of E.R
And left my soul in an emergency death bed
Bound for ditching Christ's very legacy but staid in church with no truth like a Pharisee
I will clock 21 on the twenty-third but still struggle to find sense in all I have heard for the last 20
Being bred in a world ruled by satan but made by my father
Am certain He is not happy and He is going to rip this world apart like the temple curtain
When His first born is back to take back his assets and save the faithful masses who laid down their crosses for the process of everyday Easter waiting to raise the missed ones
Back to me and my troubled heart, voices in my head tearing me apart
Pain strikes; my heart beat stops like an arrow or a dart
Blood shot eyes staring at the bible wondering if my weary soul deserves Christ's arrival
A work in progress like a Sunday choir rehearsal
Just to check ifI am alive; if blood runs through my vitals
But one thing is obvious; if I trust in His love found in 1st Corinthians
I might no longer be oblivious to His eyes
Him and I can cook something up like ferb and Phineas
Holy genius Christ is a one man army; no vices
Took the demons out of heaven and cast them on down to the hedes
Am glad He's my Dad's first born and His coming back for his siblings
Holy pilgrim

Liposuction

I need to shed weight sins in my belly cause the bible is my lipo
Drain all the shame and the pain leaving me a happy soul with no restrain
Christ my friend; not the devil on his strings like a puppeteer
Making people think they can find a cure for a heartache at the bottom of a cold bottle of beer yet they only draw close to death making the grave draw near
So am here to give you a card to the doctor
Get your problems sucked out; no charge
All you need is faith this large
Christ is your lawyer and the Lord is your judge
Guilt burns because the heart yearns lust
Deadly addiction will leave your cold body burried in the dust
Now tell me how long your fun will last if the drink and the plants you smoke are your last
YOLO; no tomorrow because the devil don't gat a second chance so that only applies to him
This world is passing and it'll crash; no switch
Fast train and it runs on steam
So when the lights go deam then you know that the devil is defeated
Now would you rather be with him
So liposucton let your fat greet burn to ashes in the fiery action
Let loose your seductions and be free from abduction
And Christ will call you brother in a fraction of time
So to these words that I rhyme
I just want you to listen no charge; no dime

Point of View

He is the beginning and the end
The first and last three elements; the world He holds in balance
Let there be light; at the rumbling of my avatars voice, fire is bent
Without moving a muscle except for those of his bottom jaw articulating
With a big bang he brings to life the source of life; water, value it
Civil engineer of life with the perfect blue print in mind
He allowed civilization in Eden to breakdown deliberate
See, if creation hadn’t been captivated, just how then would he deliver it?
They say the first act of a show is the show stopper
Also they say… save the best for last
Well next time you hear, they utter those opinions
Tell them that’s why my God is the beginning and the end that’s a fact; TOP THAT
To my poisoned mind he is a detox
That super hero who didn’t need a drop of chemical-x
Or a whole lot of everything nice to downright his power
Not needing a huff or a puff to blow air into a girl’s nostrils
The glory of this lone wolf, scientist’s compliment
With every attempt to explain the rushing of neurons inhibiting thrills
His goodness; need I get into? Take a peep out your boxed life
For a moment make your view point infinite by a circle
Take note of the way He gives life to you by the carbon cycle
Potential death to you, He makes life to plants for the primary interest of keeping you alive
All to see you flourish especially in spirit, hyped and full of verve
That’s why he takes anything and uses it as a source of energy, plainly put source of life
Take as an example the Son (sun), who or which came down and rocked bottom
Geography and theology agree this was the genesis of life, how come?
How could something so hot not scorch the existent at their formation?
This was so because creation is the very reason He chose to… stoop… so… low
To give grace as a wife; for the having and daily experiencing of, to a bride that once rode solo
To restore the intimacy He once shared with our first couple ancestors
He derailed, totally tracked off but never lost his way
With compliments of the earth being his foot stool
Not limited by time but came and lived twelve months thirty times over
Preparing for the grand re-connection to His companions, me and you
Final adjustments made three years later; officiated in three days and after
The class after…math taught that by this, restoration was clinched
Nails driven into His palms, the more our tombs were unbolted
So Ruminate…those of ya’ll that considered mammy’s mythical
I mean look at me… better yet look at you…
That's God in my point of view (of you)

Greater Than a Lion

Pride is what defines a lion.
A lion scatters and scampers everything that comes its way
It keeps its head high and enjoys a legitimate form of dominion over its prey
It intoxicates fear in every species that dwells under the shadow of its vicinity
Because of its devastating and unrelenting wrath, a lions strength is never underestimated
In a sense, the power and ability bestowed in you is massively immense to envision on a higher level field greater than a lion to which only the sky can attest
Exploit and propagate your capabilities to the greatest of heights, relinquish all negativity and adversary
Pursue success and let the ball of your destiny roll in your own hands like a lion over its prey
Be a lion to conquer and accomplish your dreams
YOU ARE FAR MUCH MORE THAN A LION!
Christ all the way!

Centerpiece

Have you ever stopped to give the sun thought?
A burning ball of unimaginable degrees
Even Indians couldn't stand the taste of it
Cause compared to their spices, this is a better type of hot
It is the world's greatest pendulum; 24hours per swing
But tell me what's good enough to set in motion if not the master's decrees?
See that right there is why I didn't ace my geography
But here's a fact for you to chew on
The sun is the centerpiece
You don't believe me try asking the planets of the universe
The answer to that will have you envying like
'How does it feel to have the world revolve around you?'
Well, here's why you wouldn't know
The centerpiece has not a thing for self centered-ness
I need not explain myself because you daily see His glow
Even the blind feel His rays glide against their skin surfaces
Now don't choke as you feed on another full spoon fact
Just swallow and consider the fact that all the praises are the Son's
More so cause there is no other address to which you can deliver
So go ahead and give those credits cause they're always due
He's quite jealous so think twice before you direct those to the moon
There can only be one centerpiece
Dare to sidestep that, you might as well dance to the rhythms of the blazing furnaces
And to those that doubt His existence, the very sight of this moon is proof there's a ball that glows with greatness

The Outpours of an All Time Legend

Its the existence of the elements that guide my hands to write this piece
The air in my brain renders my mind weightless to reach any pinnacle set high
Dry earth anchors me to the ground and holds me steady as I spit this flame 🔥
Created by the fire that burns my soul and taunts my mind to brainstorm; making tsunamis look like child play
What defines a man? Is it power or control or the data stalled behind his skull?
Knowledge, I believe they say, is the key to the future but I have lost all hope
As all my locks have been replaced by ticking time bombs on clocks that are set to half an hour past my lifespan
So I start to wonder what little things led to my eminent travels from the living plain into the grass plains of infinite vain and non-existence
From the drop of wine from my brow that the waiter cleaned up as I walked out the door to the small change I leave to the cassava seller because it is negligible to the amount I have
If curiosity really killed the cat then curiosity is worth more than nine lives
So if I am a member of the feline specie then I have nine ways to be curious Lord forbid I try the tenth one lest I die
And when the weather strikes showers and you stand in a lonely shelter across the road to a house is when you miss home and start to think crazy things like
'The earth is a magnet so selfish it pulls us back in a disguise called gravity'
This poem has no rhymes at all but before you criticize and edit the text I have impregnated this piece with
Try to fathom the reason behind all these jumbled flip floppy words and a smile will sketch your lips like the crimson canvas were Da Vinci did his Monalisa
Our minds are so complicated we don't even realize that inside our own heads, we are insane
We only make sense when we speak...word play
I end the first part off 1000.1000 and that makes this piece the detonation of a crack in a castle of glass that we have to descend

D'sac101 Segment: The Vertebrate Man

Women, ladies... Complicated species. Men often overlook the fact that women are to some extent vulnerable beings who need a man that's in charge. The often given answers by ladies such as "I don't know, what do you think?" don't necessarily mean they literally don't know. They usually have an answer already but what they mean to communicate is step up, make the decision and be the man. Ladies don't want a man that has no agenda; one that will dilly dally during every decision making process.
Most men nowadays miss it by trying to be a "gentleman" hence losing their "backbone". As much as you need to be a gentleman, that lady wants a man in charge; son of a gun; a man with a plan; the real deal kind of guy. Not some boneless man who will flex for whatever she's good with and forget his morals and principles just to fit into her life! They want a man that will sometimes stand out and say, "No honey, am not good with that. I don't like it". These are words that are scarce in the mouths of many young men these days. We often lose that good looking pretty fine shaped woman to some "rude boy" kind of man. And often wonder how he stole her heart???
Being a gentleman doesn't mean you always have to let the lady take first step in the decision making process or being a "yes ma'am" kind of man. Being a gentleman may partly mean being mature enough to see things beyond, knowing when its your shot and when its the lady's. Being a gentleman will sometimes make you look like a slave, its normal. I mean you'll have to open that door for her, pull out that seat for her, open and pour out her drink, get her some chocolate, a rose or something frequently...

Its not wrong to ask for her opinion and agree on certain things but always have an opinion! Don't be a dictator either... That'll scare the little bird away. Most men fail to balance up these two features, its either they'll be to strong on the ladies or be a puppet while the lady pulls the strings.

Hatch

Hatch; little eaglet
Create an outlet for your incubation has reached its termination
Show your maker His labour's worth now that
He has brooded you to perfection
It's time you left your comfort zone so...
Unfold your newly formed limbs and stretch;
Stretch your feeble claws and tap;
Tap those hindering walls and break
Break your way out of that shell
And spread your fluffy little wings; excel
The world out here don't promise an easy flight
To soar to the highest height, you'll have to fight
It's time to take that shield of faith; receive the strength
Lo and behold get a little more uptight
The time to be pampered is actually no more
Metamorphose; little caterpillar
Build your estate and shield your plate
As you disintegrate into your most fragile state
Decompose your outgrown skin
And compose your inner being
As you charge your butterfly wing and...
Unfold your newly formed limbs and flap;
Flap your little wings and roll;
Fly into the world and stop
Knock on every flower's gate that you may find
The one that is wise enough to open its heart
And receive divine pollination that never runs dry
Glide along the sands of time
To your next progression down the line
An endless queue of empty souls
Awaits your response to the call
The call to battle for the cause
Of Christ the one that saved your soul
Be that house planted on the rock
Not shaken by the wind
And bear fruit equivalent to the flips of the hour glass
