Time

Time! Does it have a general definition?

Or is it like a cycle that involves repetition?

Now that's related to history; an older brother of time

See, time is the father of past and future

They say time heals wounds and hurts

A patient must be patient enough and wait

Like does gravity ever tell you to wait (weight) for reality to tell you that you can't fly?

Time ceases to be good company when laziness takes over the mind

So we don't know how to even approach it 

Should it be

“Hello, please give me some extra time

Just one more time

I enjoyed reading that, watching that and playing that

Sometimes I feel like you don't give me enough TIME

Time, I'm speaking to you...please respond"

This mental conversation is putting my thoughts in a brain storm

Running laps with no sign of a finish line

Plus the bad weather!

I tried to catch up but time is faster than me

A quick one he is

Laziness cheers for me on the sideline

Saying to me softly

“It's fine, don't worry

You have much time on your hands

Focus on having fun”

And I think to myself and ask

“Does the Lord really want this for me?

Should laziness be my number one fan?”

If we treat life like a game, why don't we hit pause or better yet reset whenever we fall?

No human being possesses the ability to control.....
